The Indian Premier League (IPL) will enter it’s 17th year in 2024 as the world’s most popular franchise cricket league keeps improving with every passing season.
The inaugural IPL was in 2008 and was won by Rajasthan Royals (RR), but they have failed to win a single title since then.
In 2023, the-then defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) took on the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final, with the latter winning their fifth IPL title, a record they share with their biggest rivals, Mumbai Indians (MI).
With the action set to begin on March 22, The Sporting News takes an early look at the odds for each team to win IPL 2024.
